Local Path Storage Class installs Rancher’s local-path dynamic provisioner so a cluster can create node-local persistent volumes.

How it fits in Edka

Use this add-on when you intentionally want local node storage. For production databases and stateful workloads, prefer a durable cloud-volume storage class unless you have designed the workload around node-local persistence.

Rancher Local Path Provisioner storage class for node-local persistent volumes. Edka uses it for fast single-node PVCs backed directly by the node disk.
