Archive a Kubernetes Cluster
Archive a cluster to temporarily pause management without deleting it.
- Archived state: Read-only in the dashboard; all management actions are disabled. Does not count toward your active cluster limit.
- Use cases: Free an active cluster slot to create or test a new cluster.
- Cluster impact: Workloads keep running; only dashboard management is paused.
- Restore: Unarchive at anytime from Settings > Danger Zone.
- Requirement: Turn off Cluster Protection before archiving.
- Permissions: Organization owners/admins can archive or unarchive any cluster. Developers can do it only if they are the cluster owner.
